Image elements do not have [alt] attributes

edited June 10 in Appointment Theme
Hi,

The Google Lighthouse extension has found multiple errors for SEO on my Wordpress Appointment Pro Theme:
All of those errors are "Image elements do not have [alt] attributes"
This error is for the website logo on homepage and for all Company logos on the homepage (on Webriti demo template: "We Work for the best")
In Wordpress media library alle of those images do have Alt, but somehow the template doesn't show it to Google.
Can you please tell me how to fix this?

Kind regards,

Chris

  • To add alt in logo Go to Appearance >> Theme editor and select your child theme folder add edit header.php file and add the

alt="<?php bloginfo( 'name' );?>" on line no. 77 like this screenshot.

And for client's logo create index-client.php file in your child theme directory and paste this code. Save and activate it.

Let me know for any confusion.

    Thanks

  • Thanks, this works. Now only rel="noreferrer" is not working for social links and for Clients. In another topic i've asked you how to fix that.

  • Glad to help you.
