Remove magnifying glass in portfolio items on project page

Please refer to this page on my website.

I would like to remove the left icon (magnifying glass), because it will only make the image bigger and has no further functionality.

Nice to show photo's, but on my site the pictures are only functional.

Is there custom CSS code for this (preferred), or some other way?

The same icon is on the project overview on the home page, how can I remove it?

To remove the magnifying glass on the portfolio add the below css code into 

Appearance << Header setting <<  custom css box . 

.portfolio-image .portfolio-showcase-icons a:nth-child(1) {

display: none;

}
