Portfolio images on search bar

when I search something using the search bar, the first things that come up are images that are in the Portfolios. I only want search terms that are in posts, pages, etc to come up. How do I remove portfolio images.

example: if you put in Topsy Farms the first two items that show up are Portfolio images from our Samples page and Case Stories page. I only want articles that have the search term in it.

follow these given instruction to limit your search result 

1. download this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/

and activate 

2. create new snippets and paste this given code in  code section 

function searchfilter($query) {

    if ($query->is_search && !is_admin() ) {

        $query->set('post_type',array('page','post'));

    }

return $query;

}

add_filter('pre_get_posts','searchfilter');

save and activate snippets

now search and let me know

I will try and let me know. I do need urgent help with the About The Team section. You will see the 3 people without photos the spacing is everywhere. I have emailed you guys as requested but no one has fixed it yet.

Hi

There is no need to alter the core code. Kindly use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/osd-exclude-from-search-results/ after activation go to settings >> OSD Search Results and select "Exclude All Posts From Post Type " all the post types like portfolio, team.
