Portfolio links not working

none of the links work. When you press on the title, it should go to the hyperlink but it just stays on the page.
Please help.

And When we click on the image  plus sign  , the link go to respective page url .

As you can see above in my comments, the other portfolio page I was talking about is: http://www.bancroftcottagelife.com/portfolio_categories/case-story/# and the links are not working. Every link you press just puts you back to the top of that page.

However on the page you are talking about (http://www.bancroftcottagelife.com/content-marketing-samples/), when you press the magnify glass, the page gets bigger but it gets very dark. How do we change this as you can't see it. Also I clicked on the box that says, open in a new window, but it doesn't. Please help.

For your first issue . 

I have checked and you did not create  case-story name portfolio  category  see  snapshot  link 

that's why the link showing 404 error . 

And let me know from where you get this link( http://www.bancroftcottagelife.com/portfolio_categories/case-story/# ) 

The original link is 

http://www.bancroftcottagelife.com/portfolio_categories/case-stories/

And is working fine .

I just changed the name of that page to case stories but what I am discussing is on that page, the samples that exist, when you click on one of the images, it gets bigger but goes very dark so you can't really see it. This needs to be changed.

And when you press on the link Ex. "Align Website Content with Strategic Communications Goals", it just stays on that page rather than going to case story link (http://tangiblewords.com/align-your-website-words-with-your-strategic-goals-case-story-6/) that I put into the Portfolio page that should open up in a new window.

Add the below css code into custom css box . 

.lightboxOverlay { background-color: transparent !important; } 

.portfolio-showcase-overlay { background-color: transparent !important; }

Ok that worked but the links on http://www.bancroftcottagelife.com/portfolio_categories/case-stories/ still do not work and on the http://www.bancroftcottagelife.com/content-marketing-samples/ page, they open but into the same window.

Kindly download the latest version of theme 1.7.5 and replace all the parent theme files of appointment 17.

I don't understand what you mean by replace all the parent theme files?

If I download latest version of theme, will I lose anything we have put in the CSS box or any other changes your teams has made to our blog (title above featured image), removing author name etc.

If you update the theme with latest version  Custom css box css data will not lose .
